Cassandra Kendall wanted to create a backyard space to relax in. When she started putting together a plan, her main focus was a place to tie relaxation together with simplicity. With the help of Tuff Shed and a little DIY spirit, Cassandra’s backyard has been transformed into real oasis.
In order to prep the area, she cleared and leveled her backyard and added a gravel foundation for the new building. As soon as the 10×12 Premier PRO Tall Ranch was installed, Cassandra got to work. With the addition of a custom patio, paint, and a pergola, the exterior of the building was complete.
The raw interior was totally transformed into a custom yoga and massage studio. She finished it out with insulation and drywall, a custom painted ceiling, and plenty of relaxing décor.
Now that the backyard is completed, it has become the Kendall’s favorite place to spend time. “We wanted to create a zen-like massage & yoga studio that was relatively simple and affordable. Thanks so much Tuff Shed- we LOVE the product!”
What type of insulation was used?
Hi Robert, we apologize-we’re not sure what type of insulation Cassandra used to finish out the interior of her shed.
We are looking for a shed to be built right next to our dance studio to use for an office and storage.
Because of EPA constraints, the building cannot be attached to the original building but can be put side by side. We are wanting a 20×40 building that is flat on one side (which would sit next to the building as close as possible). The roof line would slant down from the existing building. We would like the option of choosing which side the entrance door would be.
