Curb appeal can extend all the way to your backyard. As you work on landscaping projects and backyard updates this summer, don’t forget to include your Tuff Shed building as well. Our DIY Painted Doormat project is a quick way to add some bright summer color, whether you display it in front of your shed or even your front door. You may even want to make two of these DIY doormats.
We stared with a plain coir doormat, which can be found at The Home Depot here. Our tri-color grass design fits well for spring and summer, but the sky is the limit for fun DIY designs. If you’re feeling extra artistic, you can even free-hand a design instead of using painters tape and spray paint.
You can follow along with our DIY guide below to get started, then create a doormat that’s just your style. Be sure to share photos of your finished doormat project and tag us. Happy painting!
If you’d like to learn more about the paver patio seen in this DIY tutorial, you can find our blog about the project here.
Wow that looks gorgeous!! Quick and easy. I’ll most definitely be trying this out!
